"Great experience and savings"
Great experience and savings! Recently had a very large purchase with a significant cash back offer that was not showing up in my account. Communication about this with Rakuten reps was fluid and they were on it. After several weeks, just learned the savings cash-back hit my account! All due to Rakuten’s persistence in chasing down the vendor. Thank you! Highly recommend.

"The only cash back site I trust"
The only cash back site I trust that will either track or receive actual customer support for one's that don't. My Dell purchase didn't track this time around. Contacted their support and provided receipts. After several weeks, Dell wasn't able to verify the order but Rakuten provided a courtesy credit anyways. That's why I will always go with Rakuten even though some portals may have higher cash back rates.

"Consumer Service exceeded my expectations!"
Nick did a great job helping me out with my missed new-member bonus. He responded quickly on my emails and questions (even during nighttime!). The responses were always very polite and complete. The handling and assistance exceeded my expectations. I am very very excited to start my new journey with Rakuten.com!

"Fantastic Customer Service"
I have been using Rakuten for years now (back when it was known as Ebates). I have always had positive experiences using the site. They have a very large selection of participating stores and you can score great cash back deals throughout the year (ie, 10-15% back on purchases). Perhaps the best part of Rakuten though is the customer service. I have occasionally had to submit a claim for missing cash back (a store issue, not a Rakuten issue), and customer service always replies within a couple of hours -- or less. Rakuten stands behind their service. Several times the merchant has said that my order did not qualify for cash back, but Rakuten has given me the cash back anyway. That is customer service!! Would never use another cash back website -- Rakuten is hands down the best!

"I have used Rakuten for years on my…"
I have used Rakuten for years on my phone and the other day I only had my Ipad with me so I made the app again and they are saying I have two accounts and they wont let me receive my check of $105.00 because of it. I would have used this company for years upon years but now I am like blocked from the site.. Nobody is responding to my email either. I wasted a ton of time going through Rakuten!

"Don’t use if you purchase large items"
When you have a smaller purchase, it might be okay but I bought a bit expensive furniture from Bloomingdale’s they won’t give the cash back. They will give some invalid reasons and won’t explain why.

"Scam"
Scam. They gave me credits for the first few smaller purchases. So then I made a $1000 purchase and despite repeated customer service requests I don't have a credit. They don't even bother responding. Won't use them again.

Rakuten is a company that deserves to fail. I returned a Kobo reader with the 30 days required. They then started a "long game" to avoid my return funds.
I have a UPS signed receipt for the return (within their 30-day required window.) When questioned repeatedly about their non-compliance, they blocked my e-mail. I have filed a grievance with AXP, (through who I purchased this product.)
Avoid Rakuten or make a purchase at your peril. Hard to converse with anyone there as they now
block me from any communication. Serious scam.

"Very Low quality business structure"
RESPECTFUL LOYAL CUSTOMERS MATTER - I have been a loyal rakuten customer for years ever since my sister referred me. I have even verbally referred all my friends and coworkers about this app until Rakuten business values were exposed.
SERVICE MATTERS - company’s low values to maintain good relations with its customers. I have noticed that it only cares about exposure and user traffic. At one point you’ll need help but it wont be there.

"Definitely a scam - false advertising and no support"
Definitely a scam. Was referred recently by a family member, signed up because we were both supposed to get a $40 signup bonus. Never received it. Tried to contact support, but it doesn't exist. There's a phone number which just says they don't have support and hangs up on you, a corporate number which isn't connected, and an email address which has not ever responded to requests for help. Pretty sure they're breaking the law by advertising things they don't provide

I made a $1200 purchase with them and was suppose to get 10% cash back. never did. I tried calling....a real joke nobody ever answers "we're to busy" try online help. Did that.... uploaded transaction and said was being looked into that was 6 days ago and nothing. I am so p****ed off because 2 days later my credit card was offering 12%!!! and had they responded to me in a reasonable amount of time I could of canceled but now it's to late already shipped.

Customer service is a joke along with this company. They dangle a carrot and then yank it back once you purchased more than you plan to because you were getting a bonus. God forbid you be named after your parents or pay for your children's purchase That's part of their Christmas. They used their own email address and their own name. But since I let him use my credit card, this company decides that it's invalid. Don't sign up and you won't have a headache.
